I was just watching the CNN recap of McCain's rally earlier today and it showed him taking a comment from the audience:
"I can't trust him. Obama. I just don't trust him. I've read about him. He's *stage whisper* an ARAB!"
I was shocked. The total ignorance in this nation is appalling. Call me unpatriotic, call me inflammatory, but I'm sorry, that's just embarrassing. Admittedly, McCain handled it relatively gracefully and told her she was wrong and continued the Theme of the Day which was compliment and applaud Obama, much to his supporters' chagrin. He did, however, release a nationwide advertisement today claiming that he is an ACORN activist - which is presently under investigation for voter registration fraud. They deny all accusations and, in fact, claim that they have been trying to get officials involved in detecting fraudulent registrations.
