Netflix has been one of my favorite companies since its inception, and for one simple reason: I'm a total film fiend. For a monthly subscription of $16.99, Netflix sends me three DVDs at a time, I watch them (I'd live to lie and say that I spread them out over a week or even a few days, but generally, I only make it eight or so hours. I know, don't start.) I watch 'em, send 'em back, and in 2 or so business days, I get three more in the mail. And so it continues. Then, Netflix rolled out a new feature: Watch Instantly. Cool, right? You can now watch available items from your queue instantly, on your PC. That's right. P.C. and no, I'm not talking about savoir faire. BUT! Exciting news from the Netflix blog: by Christmas, all of us Mac users will be able to join in the fun. VICTORY! This is certainly a long time coming, but I'm absolutely enamored of the Netflix team anyway.
