Sarah Palin and the Vice Presidential Debate

First, I sincerely hope that all of you had the opportunity to watch the VP debate last night. It was supremely entertaining, and really gave a great glimpse into how our candidates' sidekicks may perform under pressure. But just to be clear, while I was laughing out loud, tweeting constantly during the debate, and was avidly playing Palin Bingo I don't think Sarah Palin is dumb or unintelligent. I think she is abosolutely unprepared and incapable of serving as VP, especially in this race where her runningmate is a bit closer to the Great Beyond than previous presidents. Having said that, here are my favorite Palin quotes from the debate:

1. "Senator O'Biden"
2. "The Talibani"
3. "Nu-que-ler"
4. "Say it ain't so, Joe!"
5. "Doggone it!"
6. "General McClellan" (it's McKiernan)
7. No quote, but the instance when she credited "City on a Hill" to Ronald Reagan (it's a moral idea from a sermon given by Puritan John Winthrop in 1630)
